SPRING 2019 Advice for applicants Former store apprentice Ben Jones has become a deputy manager after excelling during his apprenticeship and making the most of the further development opportunities available. We asked him for his top tips for securing an apprenticeship with Aldi. "During the application process, demonstrate your ability to learn new skills and multitask," says Ben "This shows you're eager to learn and can get stuck in to the role straight away. "Also, make sure to showcase your knowledge of the industry - there's plenty of information about Aldi available online and in store. Do your research. "I'd advise potential candidates to draw on the things they've learned at school or college, too - it could be anything from teamwork while playing football to strong maths skills. Everyone has something they excel at, it's just about showing it in your application."
