Courtney Wright, FMP
Working in corporate relocation sales for 10 years, Courtney
Wright worked from time to time with airports and airlines,
planting the seeds for what would become an aviation career.
" Working with the airports and airlines, getting to get out and
see all these little airports that were in and of themselves their
own cities that really pushed me to focus on aviation, then
ultimately lead into a fulltime role with aviation, " recounts
Now full-time in aviation, Wright recently celebrated her
fourth anniversary with Flagship Facility Services. During
her time with the company, Wright was awarded the
Facilities Management Professional (FMP) designation from
the International Facilities Management

My favorite thing about aviation is:

each one has.
One of the avenues Wright is on the cutting
edge of is driving SMART technologies into the
restrooms and other aspects of the airport and

passenger experience. Innovation, she said, is something that
is exciting to see more and more airports embracing - and
thinks it will be critical to their success in the coming years.

" Having the opportunity to travel and
see all of the different airports is one
of the things I love the most. "
" I think it is cool to watch airports realize innovation is
something that is going to be important to passengers,
especially getting them back to traveling after everything
that's happened, is having different innovating ways to give
that passenger confidence as they walk through the airport.
That's definitely something that I am excited to see and hope
airports continue to focus on over the next couple of years, "
Wright said.
In general, Wright says what she enjoys about the aviation
industry is the variety that is brings, with no two days being
the same, and being able to travel and meet new people.
" I really love meeting the people. It is one of the things that I
am missing right now during the pandemic. It's one of things I
love the most is getting to network and meet airport directors
and different contacts within the airlines, that's probably my
favorite parts about it, " she said.

Congratulations to Courtney Wright, FMP
on being named one of Airport Business' 40 under 40!
We're proud to have you on our team.
