Jet Linx Appoints New
Base Presidents for its
Chicago and Detroit Private
Terminals
Jet Lin x a n nounced the
appointment of two new base
presidents; Brian Goodman, base
president of Jet Linx Chicago,
and Bill Royce, base president
of Jet Linx Detroit.
Goodman and Royce will
be responsible for leading daily
f light and ground operations, as
well as for driving development,
expansion and growth at the
Chicago and Detroit locations
which originally opened in 2018
and 2016.

MidAmerica St. Louis Welcomes Bryan Johnson
as New Director
The St. Clair County Public
Building Commission (PBC)
announced Bryan Johnson as the
airport's new director, effective
April. 3. Johnson is taking over
the leadership position from Tim
Cantwell, who served as director
of MidAmerica Airport for the
past 17 years, leading the charge
to grow the airport's passenger
and cargo operations while also attracting new tenants and
continuing to operate the airport as a Joint Use Airport
partnering with Scott Air Force Base.
Cantwell, who has been director of MidAmerica Airport
since July 2002, announced his retirement in October,
committing to stay on the job until his replacement was hired.

Myrtle Beach International Airport Named
Overall Winner at the Routes Americas 2020
Awards
Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) was
named the Overall Winner at the Routes Americas
2020 Awards.
	 The airport experienced a record-breaking year
in 2019, with capacity growth on 15 routes and an
analytic approach resulting in non-stop air services
from more than 45 markets.
Upon being named the Overall Winner of the
awards, Scott Van Moppes, director of Airports,
said, "We are honored to be recognized by the
airline industry for what we are doing at the
Myrtle Beach International Airport. There is no
better acknowledgment to our achievement than
to win the 2020 Routes Americas Awards!"

New Million Air Location to Open in El Paso
Million Air announced a new fixed-based operator (FBO)
will be coming to El Paso International Airport (ELP). The
new FBO is expected to be open for business early 2021,
with property under lease to expand.
"Having Million Air locate at El Paso International
Airport will be a boost for our economy. We look forward
to the efficiencies in corporate and personal travel offered
at our FBO," said Paul Foster, owner of Franklin Mountain
Investments Limited Partnership. "Our operation will
provide unmatched services and amenities for air travel
that no one in this region has experienced before."

Moore County Announces New Airport Manager
The County of Moore has named Scott Malta, A.A.E.,
as the new airport manager for the Moore
Count y A ir por t (SOP). In this role,
Malta will be responsible for planning,
implementing and coordinating the day-today operations of the airport in accordance
with the goals of the airport authority. He
began his new position Mar. 9.
Malta brings almost 20 years of airport
management experience to SOP, serving
as the airport manager at Castle Airport
(MER) in California since 2002. Malta was
the operations manager for Roanoke Regional Airport
and worked for CUNA Mutual Group and Langley Air
Force Base.
