Designed and developed in partnership with
local creative agency, Ideum, the new film
kiosk lets travelers explore the cities, towns
and scenic vistas of New Mexico and learn
about the film and television productions that
have been produced there.
The kiosk welcomes passengers with a
75-inch digital display showcasing locations,
information about productions, behind-thescenes photos and full trailers. Viewers control the experience,
browsing either by production or location, on a 43-inch inline
digital touch display.
" Film is a key component of New Mexico's creative
economy. Not only does it inject millions of new dollars into
the economy, but it's trickle effects support hundreds of small
businesses. The film industry naturally has also created a new
sector of the tourism industry. The addition of the digital Film
Wall at the Albuquerque Sunport will share the New Mexico
film and television industry with visitors and encourage them
to visit parts of the state that may not be on their itinerary, "
said Alicia J. Keyes, cabinet secretary, state of New Mexico
Economic Development Department.

Appleton International Airport Introduces New
Hydroponic Farming System
Appleton International Airport (ATW) is now growing
its own fresh greens with its new on-site Flex
Farm, a hydroponic farming system. ATW is
the first and only airport in Wisconsin to have
its own system.
" Eating healthy on the go can be difficult
with a lack of fresh, nourishing food, " said Abe
Weber, airport director. " We have worked closely
with our health partner, ThedaCare, to introduce
this on-site Flex Farm to meet those desires. We
are glad we could have local support with this project and
would also like to thank Fork Farm, the creators of the Flex
Farm, for their help in making this possible. "

Airport Authority Names Executive Director for
John C. Thune Airport
The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA)
announced aviation industry veteran Jeff
Roach as the executive director of operations
and development at John C. Thune Airport.
He joined MNAA in 2018 as assistant vice
president, strategic planning.
Roach is an American Association of Airport
Executives accredited airport executive with
more than 40 years of aviation experience,
including serving as manager of the Fairbanks
International Airport, where he administered
all airport functions. That airport is a regional

Four New Buildings Are Part of a Major Airside
Development at Sebring Regional Airport
Sebring Airport Authority has developed a new Hangar
Complex concept for the vacant airside parcel, which
borders the recently reconstructed Terminal Apron.
This Hangar Complex will include an additional 50,000
square feet of commercial hangar space, which will
focus on aviation related businesses. Grouped together,
hangar buildings range in size from 8,000 square feet
up to 15,000 square feet. The Hangar Complex, which
will include dedicated parking areas, will be developed
in phases, with the first hangar of 15,000 square feet
scheduled for construction in 2022.

BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Partners with
Clear Channel Airports to Create Innovative
Terminal Advertising Network
Baltimore/Washington International
Thurgood Marshall Airport is working
with Clear Channel Airports to develop
a new, innovative advertising program to
reach travelers in the airport terminal.
A 10-year contract is underway as Clear Channel Airports
begins to develop the integrated passenger experience program
and upgrades are expected to be implemented in spring.
Clear Channel Airports is expected to create new overhead
digital displays in high-traffic areas of the airport concourses,
as well as flight information monitor messaging, an improved
baggage claim digital network, wrap applications, digital
projections, tension fabric displays with local thematic elements
and a LCD network for the airport's rental car shuttle buses.
