New Facility at Tucson International Airport
U.S. Customs and Border Protection moved to a new
location at Tucson International Airport (TUS), and to
celebrate officials participated in a ribbon-cutting on
Dec. 4 - all while observing proper safety protocols in a
COVID-19 environment.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility,
formerly known as the Tucson
Executive Terminal, underwent
a $1.8 million renovation to
provide higher visibility for the
many pilots, users and others who
require use of the CBP's Port of
Entry services at TUS, including
United States Customs clearance for passengers and air cargo,
as well as for those who need Global Entry services.

Wilmington International Airport and The
Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover
County Select Public Art
The Wilmington International Airport
(ILM) and The Arts Council of Wilmington
and New Hanover County selected three
public art commissions as part of ILM's
terminal expansion. Over 30 submissions
were received in response to the RFP. The
public art pieces capture the spirit of the coastal Cape Fear
Region through permanent installations that welcome
ILM's patrons, enhance the facility, and contribute to
the local cultural aesthetic.
" We received a lot of great art submissions from our
community that showcased the incredible talent we have
locally. The three selected art pieces really stood out and
will bring a new, local feeling to the airport for anyone who
flies in or out of New Hanover County. Each is unique and
represents the beauty of our region, and will complement the
newly-renovated look and feel of our airport, " stated Julia

The Naples Airport Authority Announces New
Deputy Director of Aviation
The Naples Airport Authorit y named
Justin Lobb as deputy director of aviation
for the authority. In this newly created
position, Lobb will be responsible for the
oversight of the fixed-base operation, airport
operations, security, maintenance, planning
and development activities at Naples Airport
(APF). Lobb is an experienced aviation
professional with extensive knowledge of
airport management functions and a passion
for improving the general aviation community in Florida.
He began his new position on Jan. 18.
Lobb worked for Collier County Airport Authority for six
years and most recently served as executive manager, overseeing
operations at Marco Island (MKY), Immokalee (IMM) and
Everglades (X01) Airports. During his tenure as executive
manager, he oversaw numerous successful capital projects,
including major runway and taxiway reconstruction projects,
an ongoing $16 million terminal and apron redevelopment
project, an airport master plan update and security/safety
upgrades. Lobb also worked for Sanford Airport Authority
and AVCON Inc.
