Connico Names New President, Expands Roles
of Two Senior Leaders
Connico, a leading, national construction consultancy,
has named long-time senior team member, Sri Kumar, as
majority owner and president. " This announcement comes
at an important time as Connico is positioned for significant
growth ahead, and I am confident that Sri is the right person
to continue to lead this momentum, " said David Hunley,
Connico co-founder. " We are excited to have another strong
leader at the company's helm. Sri embodies our core values
and has demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to the
success of our team and clients over the past 11 years. " Kumar
has risen through leadership ranks to member of the senior
leadership team and most recently served as a senior project
specialist. Kumar is also known for his industry leadership and
serves on the board of the Airport Consultants Council (ACC).
Along with the president change, Connico also announced
that Hunley will expand his role from vice president to chief
development officer. Bryan Hafertepe has joined the ownership
team. He has stepped into the chief operating officer role and
will lead Connico's recruiting and retention initiatives.

Signature Aviation Enters into New Lease
Agreement at Chicago Executive Airport
Under a new lease agreement with Chicago Executive Airport
(CEA), Signature Aviation, the world's largest network of
fixed-based operators (FBOs), will expand its current operations
at the airport and commence planning to construct
additional hangar and office space. The agreement was finalized
at CEA's monthly board meeting. " Signature has been an
important partner at CEA for over two decades, " said CEA
Chairman D. Court Harris. " We are excited to work with
Signature as we jointly grow and invest in our airport and
l want to thank them for their commitment to CEA. " The
new 2.37-acre lease is located off Tower Road and is partially
comprised of the 94th Aero Squadron property acquired by
CEA in late 2021. The move follows the airport's master plan,
which calls for aircraft hangar storage on the site. Signature
is examining the construction of an additional 39,000 sq. ft.
of hangar space and 6,500 sq. ft. of office space, enabling
greater accessibility for customers based in the Chicago area
and empowering growth of CEA's regional economic impact,
which already totals over $429 million annually.

Terminal Planning Expert Robert Feteanu

Robert Feteanu, P.Eng., joined
HDR as Canadian aviation lead and
a global aviation strategic advisor.
Feteanu, based in Toronto, will be
responsible for HDR's growing
aviation practice in Canada, while
supporting the firm's established
U.S. practice and work in the
Middle East and Asia. Acting as a
senior member of aviation leadership, he will oversee
multidisciplined project teams and work with global
clients to advance airport facilities in Canada and across
the world.

passenger experience to inter-connected transportation
