Avfuel Adds Three new Sales Staff
Avfuel Corp. announced the appointment of Zinnia Lerma
and Candace Schroeder as contract fuel sales
associates.
As a contract fuel sales associate for Avfuel
based out of Houston, Lerma will focus on
customer acquisition and retention for contract
fuel f light department accounts throughout
Mexico and the southern U.S.
Schroeder has nearly 15 years and as a contract
fuel sales associate for Avfuel based out of Los
Angeles, Schroeder will focus on customer
acquisition and retention across the U.S. with
an emphasis on the west coast, as well as assist in new and
recurrent branded FBO training. In addition to Lerma
and Schroeder, Avfuel welcomed another new sales team
member to its commercial sales staff based out of Bogota,
Colombia, with an April 1 onboarding date.

added Principal Associate Neal Wolfe, JD, SFP
to its airports group in its newly opened Atlanta
office location.
Wolfe brings more than 15 years of experience
in airport asset and facilities management
and renewable energy planning, including
specialized solar glint and glare studies, airfield
planning and air quality and noise services.
He also specializes in sustainability planning,
resiliency and solving environmentally based
scientific and legal problems for clients across multiple
market sectors.

Rick Omang and Bobby Meyers Promoted by
Fargo Jet Center
Rick Omang has been promoted to Director
of Operations and Bobby Meyers has been
promoted to Chief Pilot. Omang has been
with the FJC charter department for six years
and has more than 30 years of experience in
the aviation industry. Additionally, Meyers
has been a part of FJC for seven years,
holding positions on the f lightline, as a f light
instructor, and in the charter department,
and has 15 years of experience in the aviation
industry.
In their new positions, Omang and Meyers
are responsible for maintaining safe and
professional f light operations by ensuring
the charter f leet is maintained to the highest
degree of standards, in addition to conducting
pre and post-f light duties, and management
of the hiring, scheduling, and training of all
charter pilots.

The Lee County Port Authority Announces New
Director of Finance
The Lee County Port Authority has named
Dave Amdor, CPA, as the new director
of f inance. In this role, Amdor will be
responsible for directing and managing the
financial, accounting and budgetary functions
for the authority. He will also oversee and
manage all financial aspects of the authority's
Capital Improvement Plan.
The Lee County Port Authority owns and
operates Southwest Florida International
Airport (RSW) and Page Field (FMY) in Fort Myers,
Florida. He will begin his position on April. 16.

Anchorage Airport Police Department Achieves
Prestigious Accreditation
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement
Agencies (CALEA) awarded the Ted Stevens Anchorage
International Airport Police and Fire Department national
accreditation.
The first agency in Alaska to receive this recognition,
the airport police and fire department joins more than 800
other law enforcement agencies across the globe in meeting
strict standards and policies set by CALEA.

The City of Corpus Christi Announces New
Assistant Director of Aviation
The city of Corpus Christi has named Tyler
Miller, A.A.E., as the new assistant director of
Aviation for Corpus Christi International Airport
(CRP).
In this role Miller will be responsible for
growing air service, reducing enplanement
leakage and addressing the need for more demand
for new and expanded air services. He began his
new position on April 13. Miller most recently
served as the airport operations manager at South
Bend International Airport, where he managed
and directed a department of eleven employees with an annual
budget of $3.1 million. Previously, he was the airport operations
supervisor for St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport
