ramark, a global leader in food, facilities management and uniforms, announced
July 10 that it will provide the opportunity for eligible hourly associates in the
U.S. to receive full tuition coverage for college degrees through the first global
learning services enterprise designed specifically to connect prominent employers to
leading universities. The Aramark Frontline Education Program is part of a $90 million investment the company made in its employees earlier this year that also includes
targeted wage and benefit increases, as well as additional training and development.
Aramark employs 130,000 frontline employees in the U.S. who serve customers and
clients as chefs, cashiers, stadium hawkers, servers, route drivers, custodians and in
many others roles in schools and universities, hospitals, sports venues, on delivery
routes and in businesses.

The application process begins in October
The application process begins in October 2019 with enrollment for the spring 2020
semester. Eligible associates may earn their degrees from high-quality universities
including Arizona State University.

nationwide starting in 2021
in an effort to protect the
environment and encourage
economic growth, according
to The Toronto Star. Trudeau
said the specific products
that would be banned would
be determined via scientific
research and analysis, and
companies would need to
fund recycling for the products they manufacture.

Aguaman, Inc.

Canada, announced that it
has acquired substantially
all of the assets of Aguaman,
Inc., a point-of-use water
filtration company based in
Miami, Florida. This acquisition is Quench's 10th since
the beginning of 2018 and
adds approximately 900
customers, growing Quench's
customer base by more than
50% in the top-10 U.S.
metro area of South Florida.
