What's new in products for more efficient fleet operation.

Controls oxidation leading
to longer fluid life

Offers enhanced fuel efficiency,
mileage, and traction

The Petro-Canada Lubricants DuraDrive
HD Synthetic 668 is specially formulated for
Allison Transmission's TES 668 specification. The
automatic transmission fluid offers enhanced
anti-shudder performance, exceptional oxidation
control, and protects vital components. In addition, it reduces wear, unplanned maintenance,
and increases life-span, contributing to a lower
total cost of ownership, the company says. The
DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668 is specified for
on-highway vehicles, including vocational applications and is fully backwards compatible for
all 1000-4000 series Allison transmissions that
require an approved TES 295 fluid.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Fuel
Max RSD (Regional Service Drive) tire and UniCircle
retread is a premium super-regional drive tire
that offers enhanced fuel efficiency, mileage, and
traction for super-regional driving fleets. Its tread
compounds help resist tearing and improve miles
to removal. The Fuel Max RSD is designed to accommodate single axle day cab configurations that travel in both cities and on the highway and features
high scrub resistance for tight turns. Fuel Max RSD
UniCircle Retread features matching tread design to
the Fuel Max RSD drive tire, with deep traction features for enhanced traction as the tire wears and is
SmartWay verified for fuel-efficiency.

Prevents an uncoupled trailer incident
The Sava Trailer Catchment Device is designed
to prevent an uncoupled trailer incident from
occurring whilst not interfering with the fifth wheel
in any way, the company says. The use of the
Trailer Catchment Device can prevent unnecessary damage to trailers caused by an uncoupling
event. Drivers have peace of mind and job security
knowing that the trailer will not become uncoupled
through driver error caused by the driver not coupling correctly to the vehicle or fifth wheel failure.

Comes with pre-drilled holes
The CURT QuickPin Trailer Coupler uses a
single hitch pin to secure the coupler onto the
ball. The simple pin design provides a secure
vehicle-trailer connection while reducing stress,
frustration, and the time it takes to hook up a
trailer, the company says. The QuickPin coupler
is currently available to fit standard 2 " diameter
balls, and offered in three different trailer tongue
widths: 2 " , 2-1/2 " , and 3 " . The QuickPin comes
with pre-drilled holes to fit most existing bolt
configurations, making installation easy.
