Monitors truck engine air filters
The Donaldson Filter Minder is designed to monitor truck engine air
filters using the vehicle's own telematics system. Filter Minder wireless
sensors and receivers send filter performance data to the cloud, and
predictive analytics inform the fleet manager when individual trucks are
approaching optimal filter life. Filter Minder connected technology works
by prompting filter changes based on filter condition, rather than on
scheduled maintenance intervals. The system also helps ensure that the
right filters are in inventory when maintenance is due.

Completely independent from engine speed
The Eaton 48V TVS EGR Pump is designed to
improve engine efficiency by enabling the use of a
high-efficiency wastegate turbocharger, matched to
the engine for fuel economy and performance, rather
than utilizing a variable geometry turbo for driving
EGR. With the 48V electric motor, the pump is independent from engine speed and more controllable
than pump-less EGR systems, the company says. In
addition, with TVS EGR pump's full-authority flow rate
control, engine manufacturers will be able to meet
new emissions regulations with fewer compromises to
fuel economy.

For high stress applications
The Mann+Hummel
Plastic-Aluminum Hybrid
for Liquid Filter Modules
is designed for use in highly
stressed applications.
This design gives the
versatile plastic material
the robustness for more
challenging applications
to expand the variety
of applications. A skeleton made of aluminum
improves stability, and is then
sheathed in a plastic functional
sheath in which all liquid-carrying elements are arranged. All highly stressed areas (such as
flange screw connections or cover threads) are reinforced with the aluminum skeleton, and the connecting elements for the fuel inlet and outlet are molded
directly from plastic.

Designed to remove hard-to-reach glow plugs
The CTA Glow Plug Puller Kit, No. 7804, removes
glow plugs even when the compartment is not easily
accessible. The kit is useful in narrow engine bays,
with glow plugs nearest the firewall. It removes broken glow plugs from the top of the cylinder head
without damage. The Glow Plug Puller Kit includes
an electrode puller, electrode reinforced drill with
two guides, two specially centered mills with one mill
support preventing damage to the head, a tap, and a
slide hammer extractor to pull out broken glow plugs.
There are three refreshing taps sizes: M8, M10x100,
and M10x125 with hex drive.

Designed to
prevent fuel site
operators from
distributing
contaminated
DEF
For all types of fuel systems
The General Technologies Fuel Injection
Analyzer, No. GTC605, is a handheld instrument for
the diagnoses and performance measurement of all
types of fuel injection systems, including solenoid,
piezoelectric and mechanical injectors used on diesel, gasoline, and liquefied natural gas engines. The
fuel injector analyzer detects and displays pintle
open time, and for solenoid and piezoelectric fuel
injectors also displays pintle opening and closing
response times, and the injector's current and control voltage. Checking fuel injectors with the GTC605
is as simple as pressing the sensor against a fuel
injector while the engine is running; there is no need
to disconnect or remove anything, the company says.

The PetroClear
DEF Dispenser
Filter Housing
and DEF
Dispenser Filter
Element are
designed to help
prevent retail
and commercial fuel site operators from distributing
contaminated diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The DEF
Dispenser Filter Housing is constructed of heavy
duty 316L stainless steel for maximum durability and
includes a mounting bracket kit and wrench. The DEF
Dispenser Filter Element filtrates urea crystals and
other contaminants to prevent them from reaching a
vehicle's on-board DEF filter.
