Converts conventional vehicles into hybrid units
Mission Critical Electronics (MCE), in partnership
with ZeroRPM, delivered the ZeroRPM System
which converts conventional vehicles into hybrid units
by eliminating idling while continuing to power all
onboard equipment, including HVAC. The lithium-ion
battery technology integrates with a vehicle's engine
and existing electrical system, providing extended
engine-off A/C and heating, plus full power to onboard
electronics, including lights, radios, and computers.
The ZeroRPM System offers hands-free control: Once
Turns engine off when idling is unnecessary
The GRIP Idle Management System from
Bergstrom and GRIP Idle Management autonomously
and intelligently manages the vehicle's engine
by turning it off when the vehicle is idling unnecessarily
and monitors the need for battery recharging and
climate among many other customizable features.
The system maintains all safety features of the vehicle
such as air bags, lighting, communications, and additional
engine off climate solutions. The system's ability
to work on all fuel types, as well as a wide range of
light- and heavy-duty applications provides a solution
for governments and organizations, allowing them to
implement effective anti-idling solutions and achieve
significant reductions.

a vehicle is in park, the system automatically shuts down the engine and provides all required power utilizing
lithium-ion batteries with a five-year warranty. For extended times of stationary use of the vehicle, the ZeroRPM
System manages the engine start/stop to recharge the batteries as needed. The system is available through
MCE's Xantrex, Purkeys, and Kussmaul brands.

Fully customizable engine
calibration platform
VQ Efficiency is a software solution that recalibrates
and optimizes a Class 1-6 engine's rpm and
idle speed for a specific region or route. Derive
Systems reported average fleet fuel efficiency
improvements of 6 to 10% and that emissions can
be reduced by 2.9 cubic tons of CO2 per vehicle per
year. The software can be used alone or in conjunction
with Derive's Safety and Telematics platforms,
and is available for 62% of fleet vehicles, starting
with model year 2013 vehicles. It's typically a onetime,
30-minute install via the OBD-II port.

Additional heating performance up to 5.6kW
Removes entrained air and vapor from diesel fuel
AirDog Heavy Duty Diesel Fuel Systems by
PureFlow Technologies, Inc. offers the Champ II
Spin-On High-Pressure Air Separation System,
engineered to remove entrained air and vapor from
diesel fuel before the fuel enters the injection system
in Volvo and Mack engines. The Champ II installs quickly
and easily to the OE Volvo/Mack secondary filter
head using an OE filter, and removes air/vapor from
the fuel system, then sends it back to the fuel tank
with the engine fuel return. The result is a cleaner burn
of fuel, providing improved fuel economy, smoother
engine idle, improved throttle response, more power
available throughout the rpm range, reduced NOx
emissions, and prolonged life of fuel injectors.

Engineered to ensure fit and reliability
The Dorman Products Heavy Duty EGR Cooler, No. 904 5027,
is engineered to match the fit and performance of the original
EGR cooler on specific vehicle years, makes, and models. It has
undergone rigorous testing such as heat transfer testing, burst
testing, and vehicle try-on testing, as well as OEM benchmarking
to ensure reliability, the company says. All necessary O-rings,
gaskets, and application-specific hardware are included.
