How Keolis charges one
of the largest e-fleets in
Northern Europe.
Keolis Norway has implemented cloudbased
solutions to monitor and charge its
electric bus fleet in Bergen, which is among
the largest renewable energy fleets in
Northern Europe with 112 e-buses. This
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) project has
saved Keolis the initial investment costs of
a purchased system and guarantees the
agency trouble-free operations for the ten
years of its concession, as the contract
includes hosting of the software and
constant updates.
Keolis utilizes the web-based solution,
LIVErtpi, for real-time monitoring of its
buses. The software is used to track a
vehicle's location, its punctuality, and its
current State of Charge (SoC) to ascertain
whether the remaining range will be
sufficient to complete the bus run.
INIT's smart charge management system,
MOBILEcharge, ensures buses are always
available for service on time, properly
charged, and pre-heated or pre-cooled. By
making ideal use of the available charging
periods, MOBILEcharge can keep the power
costs at a minimum.
Efficient fleet
management
" INIT is a key partner for
the management of our
operation, from the traffic
control to the charging
management system. "
Cost savings thanks to
smart charging
Depot management
integration
