The Shadow Tool Staging Systems' timesaving
design provides open barrier-free
physical and visual access for hand tools
in dedicated positions to speed tool selection/return.
It allows for simple visual
inventory control and reduced physical
motion demands. Features include four 8 "
wheels (two locking), power support, battery
charging drawer, two tool canisters,
driver holder, six center shelves, four stanchion
racks, 10 " by 14 " table on swivel arm,
built-in top shelf, two 30 " by 40 " extension
panels, two sets of wrench holders, one
fluid shelf, five Tips Up sets, and a 15 " shelf.
The fully enclosed system is secured with
a keyed lock and measures 6' 5 " tall by 30 "
deep by 36 " wide.

SmartWeight Elite Wheel Balancer
The Hunter Engineering SmartWeight Elite
Wheel Balancer is designed for maximum speed,
efficiency and accuracy. Its simplicity and efficiency
comes from replacing dataset arms with a pair
of diagnostic lasers that provide all the necessary
data. When the hood is lowered, the lasers automatically
scan the entire inner rim, providing precise
locations for weight placement. The automatic
functions include measurement and dimension
entry; inside rim runout, which helps identify bent
wheels; spoke locations, to conceal weights; and
CenteringCheck, to ensure the wheel is properly
centered on the shaft. Additionally, the system designates weight placement anywhere
along the wheel, rather than only the left or right planes.
Editor's Note: For this wheel balancer, Hunter has replaced the dataset arms with a
pair of diagnostic lasers that will provide technicians with precise locations for weight
placement on the wheel.

Tekton
3/8 " Drive Folding Ratchets
The Tekton 3/8 " Drive Folding Ratchets are designed
for use in minimal access spaces, providing low leverage
and high speed. The patent-pending ratchets use the company's
90-tooth ratchet mechanism in the ultra-compact
3/8 " drive head. They fully extend into a small offset
ratchet. In partially folded positions, the handle gets
out of the way for greater access and in the fully closed
position, they are an ergonomic palm ratchet. The joint
is non-locking for continuous range and stiff so that it doesn't flop around. The ratchets
are available in quick-release and non-quick release models.
Editor's Note: These 3/8 " Drive Folding Ratchets are a tool our editors haven't seen
before. With the addition of the foldable head, technicians can position the handle
out of their way for greater access in tight areas.
