Fast-Track® Intelligent Diagnostics from Snap-on® is revolutionizing the business of diagnostics. When a vehicle
pulls into the bay, technicians are likely to encounter interdependent fault codes, live data points, graphs,
flow charts and diagrams. With so much information available, the biggest challenge is to find and follow the
right clues to a solution. Fast-Track Intelligent Diagnostics, exclusively from Snap-on makes it possible for
technicians to be more efficient by bringing tests and information related specifically to a diagnostic trouble
code (DTC) to one place.
Intelligent Diagnostics provide pre-filtered information:

and campaigns

With Intelligent Diagnostics and a step-by-step diagnostic
process, technicians can power through their workload.
STEP 1: Check for codes. DTCs are still the best source to
narrow the search. Once it's known if there's a code, go to
step two and use the code or symptom to determine a likely
cause. Identifying a code opens up the possibilities of putting
the Fast-Track Intelligent Diagnostics software to best use.
STEP 2: Search factory TSBs. Intelligent Diagnostics narrows
them down to only those for that code. They are a great
companion to fault codes and SureTrack. Most technicians use
a repair information system like ShopKey® Pro or ProDemand®
for all-makes TSB access. Intelligent Diagnostics takes users
directly to the TSBs related to the DTC they're investigating.
STEP 3: Intelligent Diagnostics smart data filters unrelated
PIDs so technicians only need to look at what is relevant to the
code. It automatically sets PID triggers which flag PID red or
blue, out of limits or within limits.

STEP 4: Check SureTrack for real world answers. SureTrack
take the clues: vehicle, code, symptom and shows the most
common parts used to repair similar vehicles and problems.
It's based on experience from millions of successful repair
orders, so it provides the actual parts used to complete the
repair.
STEP 5: Use functional tests or component tests to pinpoint
and verify the problem. Guided Component Tests take
technicians to the specific information they need, showing
what to test, how to connect and what results to look for.
Directly testing the suspected component can verify a
component before replacement.
