THE REVIEW:
Q: How did the tool function as far
as saving you time?
A: Very few late-model vehicles have
grease fittings, so I took this tool to my
son-in-law's farm where I used it on a
12-row sugar beet digger. The machine
has 24 stainless hardened steel disks
each with two grease fittings for a total of
48 grease fitting just on the front of the
machine. The belts have multiple pillowblock
style bearings each with its own
grease fitting. Air-powered guns are nice,
but out in the field, compressed air is not
necessarily handy to the location of the
machine. This grease gun is the answer!
Additionally, with a hand grease gun, it
takes two hands to pump. With this gun,
one hand can be used to squeeze the trigger
and the other hand to guide the grease
tip onto the grease fitting.
Q: What kind of setup was involved
before using the product?
A: Not much. The grease gun came
fully assembled. The instructions said to
charge the batteries for 12 hours before
using it, which I did.
Q: How easy was it to use?
A: It's a simple device. With two speeds
to shoot the grease, simply hold the trigger
in until you're done pushing grease in.
Q: What features did you like?
A: The tool is reasonably lightweight
and well-balanced for its size. I'm not very
strong anymore but holding the gun with
one hand while guiding the grease tip
didn't strain my arm. It was far easier to
use than a hand pump gun.
Q: Is there any way the tool could
be improved?
A: Like every new grease gun, there
is some trouble purging the air out of it.
Since I didn't go through an entire tube of
grease, I don't know if that trouble would
reoccur each time a tube is replaced. I am
hopeful that it won't. Also, the carrying
case is very nice but no one is going to tuck
that hose back into the holder. I'd recommend
just a clamp to hold the gun and let
the hose hang inside the case.
Q: How was its packaging? Did it
come with any accessories?
A: It came with two batteries, which
was nice, and the 20V Li-ion battery
was strong enough to grease the entire
machine with one battery on a single
charge. Very impressive! It also came with
two spare grease tips and those are highwear
parts. When they wear, the grease
goes everywhere except into the bearing
where you want it.

driven by an efficient, 20V, Li-ion battery. The two-speed
motor delivers grease at up to 10,000 psi (690 bar) in both
high- and low-output settings. The gun's three-point base
keeps the tool upright and stable for easy handling without

simple-to-reach fittings.
