around town feature American Academy of Implant Dentistry 62nd Annual Meeting Preview October 23-26, 2013 • Phoenix, Arizona Technology and biology converge in the Valley of the Sun at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s (AAID) 62nd Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, October 23-26, 2013. Implant dentistry has come a long way from the early days. The advances are more than evolutionary. The meeting will explore treatment options available to doctors to solve even more difficult and complex issues for patients. It will focus on the biology of osseointegration, regeneration and biologics, and management of clinical dilemmas. The Scientific Program will kick off on Wednesday with a morning devoted to “New Trends, Techniques and Technology,” followed by “International Excellence in Implant Main Podium Programs feature world-class experts and presenters. 16 SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT » Dentistry – The Spanish Connection.” Simultaneous translation will be provided. An AAID Live Surgery Theater will be available throughout the meeting with five different live surgeries available for viewing. Seven hands-on workshops plus limited-attendance programs will be offered.
