Abstract
While we are no longer technically experiencing a recession, many
areas of the country are experiencing economic challenges. Yet, there are
dental practices that are not only surviving in today's economy, but they
are thriving in spite of the challenges. This article outlines five strategies
to create a thriving practice.
Educational Objectives
At the end of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Define the six elements of a thriving practice.
2. Develop a comprehensive marketing plan using internal, external
and digital strategies.
3. Use three specific strategies to grow their whitening business.
4. Identify the six digital photos to take for patient education.
5. Create patient engagement by using an iPad to view the photos.
6. Identify the five systemic conditions that have a connection to
perio disease.
7. Conduct a patient tour to introduce the new patient to the practice.
