Once you know those things, then you'll know how much you'll need to charge to make money. And too many dentists don't know these things, and then wonder why they can't make more money. ■ 1/27/2020 I spoke with a colleague who's reading the newsletters from consultants and looking at the trends and planning for the next five years. He says that the trend toward group practices is inevitable. He also said that the only way to stay above water is to create a chain of several practices, then sell them to private equity. "I understand that this is bad for the patients and this is bad for the profession, but I need to make money for my children." Those are his words. But one way or another, DSOs are like chain restaurants: good in something, lacking in something. Does anybody know a realistic and tested way to distinguish yourself in the market that is dominated by the desire for profit from the DSO management and insurance companies? ■ dentus Member Since: 08/10/14 Post: 70 of 71 2/3/2020 Have you made PPOs work in your practice?
