message board Worn Dentition, Composite Rehab Check out this treatment where composite materials made for a great alternative to an otherwise costly case saravs Member Since: 07/31/04 Post: 1 of 30 I was hoping the more experienced people here could help me with this case. Patient is a healthy 55-year-old with signifi cant wear on his teeth. Would like to show some teeth when he smiles. At repose his canine is about 4 mm short from the edge of his lip. I have some pics of his max smile and max gum display. He saw me initially because of lingual cusp fracture on #30. I temporized his tooth and asked him to consider a comprehensive treatment and he has been in that provisional for over three months now. I feel like his bruxing was a thing in the past and now patient has stopped it. Because fi nances are an issue and I am not sure how things are going to hold up, we both decided on a composite rehab. My plan is to get a wax-up going and use a clear stent to inject composite to make them longer. Please give me your opinions on my plan. Thank you. Max smile. Max gum display. Teeth together. Occlusal views with my provisional on #30 that has been fi ne without breaking or coming off for over three months now. ■ 6/23/2021 26 DECEMBER 2021 // dentaltown.comhttps://www.dentaltown.com/messageboard/thread.aspx?s=2&f=216&t=357055&g=1 http://www.dentaltown.com
