Good As Gold A new, fast hybridized canal-shaping procedure for better endo treatment results BY DR. REID PULLEN T he two most common questions I encounter when I teach general dentists how to perform endodontic therapy are, " How do I fi nd all the canals? " and, " How do I get down them and then shape them safely? " In root canal therapy, locating all the canals and then negotiating down to working length are two of the most important tasks in the entire procedure. Once this is accomplished, shaping can commence. But what if there was a way to blend both negotiation and shaping?
