Additionally, when I communicate with a lab I have not used before, they have never heard of how I have found great results and if I had not communicated with them, they would have poured both sides of the double-bite impression and then hand-articulated the quadrant casts. Crazy? Maybe, but it has reduced and practically eliminated any needed chairside occlusal adjustments signifi cantly. ■ 1/12/2021 I would send it back. It only takes a little more time in your schedule to get the occlusion correct. I always want occlusion and eliminate all excursive movement markings, and patients never seem to complain. I tried several labs and got so frustrated with occlusion and margins being slightly off that I got a Cerec machine. Which makes no sense fi nancially in my offi ce that does 15-20 crowns a month, but this way I can design occlusion/margins and have a 60- to 90-minute turnaround if it's not right. ■ 1/12/2021 Share your crown tips with other Townies Have you seen your fair share of crown cases?
