message board SPECIAL SECTION Radiopaque Mass on Lower Mandible. Differential Diagnosis Help. What could this unique mass be? jennaii Member Since: 04/07/09 Post: 1 of 13 I have attached a pano from 2018 and 2019. Recently patient took CT scan for third extraction purposes, attaching CT also. There is a radiopaque mass on lower left mandible #20 #21 apex area where it also has radiolucent periphery. It doesn't seem to be increasing in size but something I have been monitoring. What could the differential diagnosis be? And also could it be something that I should refer out for a further evaluation? Thanks for your advice in advance!
