PAN/CEPH MACHINES
I bought a Panoramic Corp. Encompass with dual sensors
in October 2015. To date, I've taken almost 900 panoramic and
600 lateral and frontal cephalometric radiographs. The support
has been good; overall, I am pleased. Here are some sample

"I purchased a Vatech PaX-i pan/ceph in 2007. The
support is great; the tracing software is basic, but I really
like it. I have not had any major problems (knock on
wood, lol), it's really easy to use, and the images are really
awesome! A friend of mine purchased a different pan alone, which cost way much more than
mine, and we both are always amazed at how much better my machine's images are. I would
100% recommend it to anyone and I would buy another one in a second. Here is a sample of

"I am on my second Planmeca unit. Very happy with the S2. My
first unit 12+ years ago was a single-sensor machine. We never once in
11 years had an incident with moving sensor, but when I bought a new
unit I absolutely went for dual sensor. Well worth the money. With the
amount of switching back and forth over a decade or more, it will be
worth it. ...
One of the biggest reasons I bought another Planmeca as my second pan/ceph was so I could run native on a Mac. Did make it easier.
(It also worked when we ran it on a PC, but had more complications
that came up about once every month.)"

2018 TCA Winner: Panoramic/Cephalometric Machines (Digital)
"I've had a Carestream pan/ceph for a few months now with no problems. I went
from a single-shot ceph to the scanning ceph. No big deal at all-like most other new
things, you get used to it. Steadily good images. I liked the parts and labor warranty
Carestream provides, versus just parts with others. It's come in handy for me as my
former unit became elderly. I'd buy it again."
