What specific physical characteristics
set your aligners apart from others?
In 2021, 3M Clarity Aligners Flex joined 3M's original material,
3M Clarity Aligners Force, for multimodulus, two-material
treatment for aligner therapy. As part of a two-material treatment
design, Clarity Aligners Flex are well suited for the movements of
rotation, extrusion and proclination; 3M Clarity Aligners Force are
suited for the movements of expansion, torque, sequential bodily
movement and segmental intrusion.
What features make your software and/or
doctor dashboard unique and efficient?
The 3M Oral Care Portal allows clinicians to leverage
multimodulus aligners to customize each patient's treatment in a
single design. Key to the user experience is the ability to work with
multiple treatment modalities and combination treatments. The
portal is also cloud-based and features robust CAD functionality,
including progress scan, diagnostic tools and a doctor-controlled
3D viewer.
Are particular scanners required to
submit cases? If so, which brands?
Clarity Aligners Flex + Force is an open platform that accepts
high-quality STL files from any scanner. The platform has
integrations with the 3Shape, Carestream and Midmark portfolios
of scanners, and 3M is working to integrate the Medit portfolio.

supports customers with excellent customer service every step of
the way. 86% of surveyed customers report that the Oral Care

3M understands that many customers elect to manufacture
smaller cases and retainers in-house, and welcomes customer feedback
on how customers would like to see the company participate.

3M's tiered offering is based on the number of stages, including
a finishing tier with five stages and increasing to a comprehensive
tier at 21 stages. Case pricing varies based on a discount loyalty
program, which is based on aligner and bracket purchases.
