Ormco's new repositionable Ultima Hook
Gaidge New Patient Tracker Module
Gaidge has introduced a New Patient Tracker module designed to
provide comprehensive task management and tracking throughout the
new-patient journey, including a payment presentation tool and the ability
for prospective patients to accept treatment remotely.
The New Patient Tracker provides treatment coordinators with
everything needed to manage the prospective patient workfl ow in one
place. With the patient management dashboard, users can see each task,
along with the completion status for every patient in the pipeline. After
an exam, treatment coordinators can present fi nancials in an interactive
payment presentation slider that allows for custom fl exibility and payment
plans unique to a practice's treatment types and policies.

work with Damon Ultima wires to correct
maloccluded teeth in conjunction with
orthodontic appliances.
The snap-fi t hooks are placed onto the
archwire intraorally and can be placed fl ush
against the bracket. A supporting instrument
is provided to move the hook along the
wire. The nickel titanium hooks can be
repositioned up to three times.

Carestream CS 8200 3D Neo Edition
Carestream Dental recently introduced the Neo Edition of its CS 8200
CBCT machine, which includes larger fi eld-of-view (FOV) options to help
doctors see more during a scan.
The new unit includes 2D panoramic imaging, CBCT imaging, 3D object
scanning and optional cephalometric imaging, with nine selectable FOVs that
can be used to guide daily clinical applications or more advanced treatments.
To facilitate proper patient positioning, a low-dose scout image lets users
control the imaging area before the examination to reduce the need for retakes.
The system also comes with a new low-dose panoramic program, reducing the
dose to 50% without compromising image quality.
