FBLA PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE

Dear Members and Advisers,
Hey there! It would be an understatement to say that a lot has been
happening over the last few months in FBLA-PBL, but we are astounded by
how well our membership has faced the challenge!
One major initiative that the National Center has conducted throughout
the beginning of this year was our On the Road to Nationals initiative,
where we encouraged membership growth in conjunction with giveaways
and FBLA merchandise. I am proud to say that we have grown over 42,250
members in FBLA throughout this initiative, an incredible jump since the
beginning of the year!
Your National Officer team has been hard at work serving you. Some
projects that we are working on include creating more resources for our
membership (including support for social media, competitive events,
fundraising, and more!), working toward a new scholarship program, and setting the stage for
some new membership engagement challenges for next year!
We are pleased to show some our work in this TBL issue. Since we formed our FBLA
and PBL Social Media Ambassador teams a few months back, we have been collaborating on
projects and articles to amplify the member contributions across the country. Turn to page 11
to read more. They have put a great amount of effort into this TBL issue, and we are so excited
to showcase more student-curated content for our national publication.
Since I last wrote, the FBLA-PBL Board of Directors made the decision to offer a full virtual
National Leadership Conference. This decision was thoughtfully made to ensure that a safe
and meaningful nationals experience was available to FBLA-PBL members. With the advanced
planning, we plan to bring the NLC above and beyond our 2020 event filling your days with
networking opportunities, specialized tracks, and a live Awards of Excellence ceremony!
