FBLA PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE

Dear Members and Advisers,
Hello again! What an exciting last few months it has been!
If you told me at the beginning of this FBLA season that this was how the year
was going to pan out, I would've had a hard time believing you. Over the past few
months, I heard of numerous success stories,
saw how involved our membership was on social media, and witnessed all of
FBLA-PBL truly come together as one supportive unit while attending state
conferences. Although I should expect nothing less from incredible members and
advisers like you, I was pleasantly surprised to see tens of thousands of members
succeed under these unique circumstances.
When I started in FBLA, I struggled to branch out, learn new ideas, and find
mentors. I did not have a physical chapter in place at the time, and I had no idea
how many opportunities FBLA provided to its membership. Now, as my FBLA career comes full circle
with everyone facing similar challenges of participating virtually, I was reminded of my life-changing
FBLA experience: the 2018 NLC in Baltimore. I accomplished something so unique and challenging to
get to that point that I knew, regardless of the outcome, I did it.
That is what I encourage you to take from this message. Together, we did it.
After all what we have been through, from the pandemic to virtual conferences, we pulled through.
You pulled through. And no one will ever be able to take that away from us.
I hope to see you in attendance at the 2021 National Leadership Conference that is quickly
approaching us, and remember, regardless of the outcome, you have accomplished and learned so much.
As I reflect on my presidency, one thing I am confident in saying is that if we are all able to succeed
in an environment like this while remaining positive and optimistic at the same time, we can accomplish
anything. I am so thankful for my fellow officers, mentors, advisers, and members for getting me to this
point. I owe all of my success to you.
