PBL PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE

Greetings PBL Members and Advisers,
What a year it has been. Looking back on our journey together, I am so
impressed with the resiliency and perseverance of our members, advisers, and
volunteers. I commend each and every one of you for your commitment to
success during this unusual season. I am confident as things begin to return to
normal, that the results of your dedication will shine through.
You have overcome obstacles unlike any other, and found light in the
darkest of places.
This year, you have coordinated incredible virtual workshops, webinars, and
conferences for our membership to participate in. Although not ideal, virtual
State Leadership Conferences provided opportunities for states to collaborate
with each other, some for the first time! This virtual environment also
encouraged members from other states to present and speak at SLC's across the country, which would
not have been possible prior to COVID-19. I commend the work of each State Officer team, and your
willingness to take a chance for your members. Your hard work and preparation truly paid off!
As we look forward to NLC, I encourage you to reflect over the last several months and celebrate
your accomplishments! Through the unthinkable, you have continued to participate in webinars,
conferences, workshops, and game nights that have given you opportunities to connect with members
from across the world. Together, we aspired to achieve greatness, in the midst of great challenge. PBL
members and advisers, you have done just that! As we finish this membership year, remember to
finish strong. You have come so far and owe it to yourself to finish this year with the most energy and
effort you are able to muster. Looking ahead to next year, we will hopefully be reunited in person, but
I hope we remember our experiences from this last year and use what we have learned to enhance
our in-person experiences. Things may have changed drastically, but the future of Phi Beta Lambda is
brighter than ever.
