Payment should be easier with the funds already in the account. Recruiting New Members Get the freshmen. This is the single most important factor in chapter growth. Being able to get freshmen (or the youngest class at your school) excited and involved year one is essential to creating a funnel of members to fill gaps left by graduating seniors. If there is a Middle Level chapter in your district, be sure to partner with that adviser when possible so that those students see how moving to the next division is beneficial. Get the freshmen. If you are working in a large school with multiple business education teachers, make sure that each teacher is promoting FBLA and sending prospective members to the correct location. It helps tremendously when each teacher in a program is engaged in activities of FBLA. For chapters both inside and outside of a formal business program, making sure that chapter recruitment is publicized both many times and many places in the school setting. If your school is virtually-based at the start of the school year, ask other teachers to allow you to "pitch your chapter" at the start or the end of an established class time.
