NATIONAL PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Greetings FBLA,
What an incredible past few weeks we've had. Whether it was taking part in
the many webinars throughout FBLA Week or continuing to promote Career
and Technical Education (CTE) within our communities, February has been a
gratifying month, filled with adventures and happy moments.
My team sincerely enjoyed spending time with you this FBLA Week,
and we hope it was everything you wished for and more. A special thank
you to everyone who joined me at the National Presidents' Forum! It
was a great experience, and I hope you learned more about my story and
FBLA upbringing.
With this being CTE Month, I wanted to share a special message
of gratitude to the educators, business professionals, and industry
representatives who continue to enrich the experience of FBLA members
worldwide. Your support of CTE and your unconditional love for our mission
propel this organization forward, and we wouldn't be half as successful if it weren't for your
gracious support.
In addition, advisers like mine, Ms. Jasmine Lane, and those from across the country inspire
me and uplift other students. To all of our advisers, thank you! Thank you for taking a chance on
your students and teaching them about the world around them. We wouldn't be who we are if it
weren't for you. These words of gratitude aren't exclusive to February and CTE Month; instead, they
span the entire year. As FBLA members, we owe it to those who are pushing us forward to thank
them and appreciate all that they're doing to make us better leaders.
As we continue to look forward, I hope you are all gearing up for your State Leadership
Conferences (SLCs), which will take place over the next two months. These experiences will
challenge you, allow you to grow, and inspire you to expand your network, so I hope you're ready!
In addition, I might be at your SLC this year, so, if you see me, don't hesitate to say " Hello! "
We will end our year with the 2023 National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, which
we are already planning. Although I can't give away too much information, just know that this
conference will be one to remember for years to come. Get ready! You're in for a treat.
As we continue to write our legacies this year, I hope you continue to find yourself in this
organization. Leaders like you inspire your National Officer Team more than words could ever
express. For all that you're doing in your local community, thank you.
