NATIONAL PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Happy CTE Month, FBLA Collegiate!
Happy Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month! What a great
opportunity this month presents to recognize and celebrate our Career and
Technical Student Organization and all its members!
We kicked off the month of February by celebrating FBLA Week, and
what a week it was. We got the chance to network with so many members
throughout the week, and it was so great to put the spotlight on you! We
recognized our outstanding students and advisers, and we gave away tons of
prizes. What a joy it was to spend the week with all the National Officers in
the Washington, DC, area and to create live content just for you all. A special
shoutout to all the officers and the National Center staff for working so hard
to put this jam-packed week together. Without leaders like you, we wouldn't
have such amazing programs to share with our membership. We are all
looking forward to the rest of the program year and continuing the hype all
the way up to the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in June!
This year has been a whirlwind, but there is still so much to get involved in! With competition
and state conference season right around the corner, I encourage you to step out of your comfort
zone and try something new. We've got all kinds of competitive events for you to try, including
objective tests, presentations, interviews, speeches, case study competitions, and more. Use this
opportunity to strengthen your skills, and I think you'll find that the rewards will follow! Rewards
include qualifying for the NLC, scholarship prizes, and some snazzy new hardware.
Speaking of the NLC, we are now just a few months away from making the journey to Atlanta,
Georgia, for our end-of-year celebration. Registration opens on March 1-our website has a lot
more information. Workshops, social events, the Future Leaders Expo, competitions with the
nation's best, and the elections of next year's National Officer Team await you this summer. Make
sure to save the dates for the Collegiate NLC-June 22-25. We can't wait to see you in Atlanta!
