NATIONAL PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Happy May, FBLA!
Welcome to the final months of the 2022-23 FBLA program year! May this
month bring you lots of success as you prepare for the National Leadership
Conference (NLC) in Atlanta, Georgia this June (yes, pun intended!).
Over these past few months, we have challenged our members to
redefine their legacies. With the launch of our new brand, we've been
channeling this year's theme: One Association for Service, Education,
& Progress. We know you've been doing the same by showcasing your
#FBLALove in your local communities and states.
As I wrap up my last year in FBLA High School, I keep thinking back on
what an adventure it's been. From visiting numerous states for their State
Leadership Conferences this semester to attending local chapter meetings
with our members, serving as your National President has been the honor
of a lifetime. Thank you for taking a chance on me and allowing me to take
a chance on you. FBLA has given me countless opportunities to polish my public-speaking skills
and to step out of my comfort zone. Whether you're a brand-new member or returning after
several years, I urge you to stay with FBLA.
These past few years, my journey in FBLA has continued to give me opportunities to better
myself. When I first joined, I was a shy, timid seventh grader who had no idea about the world
around me. Now, looking back, I realize how much I've grown. As a graduating senior, I owe my
public speaking ability, confidence, and ability to navigate the real world to FBLA. With programs
like the Business Achievement Awards and the conferences I've been able to attend, I've truly
furthered my professional development. If you're in need of a community and opportunities to
better yourself as a leader, stay with us, my friends!
As we near the 2023 NLC, I hope you are already making your travel plans to join us for
a fantastic few days in " Hotlanta. " Let me be the first to tell you that this year's NLC will be
one for the history books. Wonderful workshops, competitive events, networking, pin trading,

Finally, this month is significant for many of our High School members, especially our
graduating seniors (including myself)! I hope you're ready for the next chapter of your life, and, to
all those who will continue on their FBLA journey in the 2023-24 program year, I cannot wait to
see where you take this organization in the year(s) to come.
