NATIONAL PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Welcome to May!
It's hard to believe we are so close to the end of the school year, and, with
that, the end of the program year! As you all are busy preparing for finals, I
want to take an opportunity to commend you for your hard work this year
in FBLA while juggling the many other things you have on your plate. To the
graduating class of 2023, congratulations! I am so proud of you and your
accomplishments in completing this part of your education. I can only hope
that FBLA has played a positive role in your collegiate career, and I wish you
all the best in your future endeavors! I also encourage you to stay connected

With state conference season also behind us, I want to congratulate all
competitors on their event success. I am excited to welcome our national
qualifiers to the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Atlanta, Georgia
next month. Whether this will be your first NLC, or your final one, I
encourage you to make the trip to Atlanta and see what possibilities are in store for you. Speaking
from experience, all it takes is one conference to change your life, and the opportunities at the
NLC are limitless.
As my time as Collegiate National President and as a long-time member in this organization
is winding down, I want to take a moment to reflect on my experience in FBLA. There's truly no
way I can list everything that I have gained from my experience in this organization because that
list would never end. However, if I had to highlight some of my top experiences, they would be...
* Meeting life-long friends
* Building my own confidence
* Connecting with like-minded leaders
* Gaining supportive mentors
* Traveling across the country
* Finding my voice
These are all things that I have gained through getting involved in the local, state, and national
level of this organization. They are all things that, as I am about to graduate college, I will take
with me on my career journey and throughout life. I could not be more thankful for all that I have
learned and how much I have grown, and I owe that to taking a chance on FBLA. I know it sounds
cliché, but if there's one thing I've learned over my four years in college, it's that sometimes you
have to be willing to take risks, and oftentimes those risks end up leading to wonderful possibilities.
With that being said, I am so very excited to see how these last couple of months play out
for you, and I cannot wait to greet you in Atlanta. Take care, enjoy this " end-of-the-school year "
season, and celebrate your achievements. You've earned it!
