operations, and facility management, fundraising and
student-affairs, Mason embodies the Division III model by
developing well-rounded student students, administrators,
and young professionals who want to learn and mature
within the division.
Mason has served on numerous NCAA committees that
include but not limited to, the Financial Aid and Division
III Technology Committee which allowed her to make
an impact through policy development and accessibility
within the division and on campuses. Mason embraces
the women leaders' mantra of " Lifting as You Rise "
through her ability to motivate and bring up young women
and men, especially of color, and place them in circles
and positions that will help them mature in their role as
administrators while increasing the awareness around the
disparities of minority leaders within Division III.

Nick Mascioli, Director of
Athletic Performance, Second
Baptist School, Houston, TX
Nick Mascioli was a three-sport
athlete in high school (Delaware
County Christian, Philadelphia,
PA) and then went on to win a DII
National Championship at West
Chester University. He has since
spent several years working in
Major League Baseball, specifically with the Pittsburgh
Pirates organization. He has transitioned into the high
school athletic world seamlessly and is doing an absolutely
amazing job creating culture and building athletes. He has
a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, a MA in Exercise
Science is licensed in Massage Therapy, and also is a
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.
Mascioli is one of the best there is at the high school
level helping to make education-based athletics vital in
the current climate. He was highly motivated during the
COVID-19 pandemic to not just wait it out, but continue
to deliver excellent content to each and every athlete.
Once given the green light, he planned, communicated,
and executed a six-week program where student-athletes
could come on campus and workout while mitigating risk
for coaches and athletes.

Marques is definitely not an
individual who is concerned
with awards bu, some of his
accomplishments should be
noted: Awarded Building Teacher of the year during his
first four years of teaching at Perkins Middle School.
In 2016, he and his staff led East CLC to its first league
championship in 40 years, was named League Coach of
the Year, District Coach of the Year, and Ohio Division 3
State Coach of the Year. It also marked the first time that
East CLC has reached the state playoffs in the school's
history and beat the undefeated top overall seed in the
first round.
Since then, East has won two more league
championships, made another state playoff appearance,
and won another first-round playoff game, while during
this same timespan, assisting in sending more than 40
student-athletes to numerous universities and colleges.
Marques's leadership and drive to help his students and
his athletes succeed in the classroom and on the field of
play has changed lives.

Dr. John Taylor, Director of
Athletics/PE, Irvington Public
Schools, Irvington, NJ
Dr. Taylor takes an active
interest in the health and wellbeing
of every student-athlete. A
former reality television star on,
" Too Fat for 15, " Dr. Taylor had
documented weight loss results
as he aided 171 students lose a
combined 12,000 pounds from 2009-2011.
He was honored with the 2010 Community Leadership
Award from the President's Council on Fitness, Sports,
and Nutrition, and was the subject of an article in the
" Let's Move " newsletter that same year. For his efforts, E!
News named Dr. Taylor, " America's Most Knowledgeable
Fitness Personality, in 2010, outranking other celebrity
trainers such as Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels, Shaun T.,
and Tony Horton.

During his time as Supervisor
of Athletics, Mr. Crater has been
instrumental in transforming
a successful high school and
middle school athletics program
and redefining the higher
purpose of athletics. Since he has started, his district
and community established a successful Values &
Standards Document and has worked on creating a
committee (dubbed the Values Ambassadors) to make
this document come alive and have our school and
community act in a way that represents our values in
every action and decision.
He has also been instrumental in placing an emphasis
on not only coaches professional development by bringing
in leadership experts, but also student-athlete leadership
