MANTS IN REVIEW
MANTS jump-started the 2023 green industry trade
show season on a high note bringing together horticulture
industry leaders from around the country. A sold-out
trade show floor showcased more than 900 exhibiting
companies in more than 1,530 booths. Attendees from
42 states and 14 foreign countries spent three days
connecting with colleagues, discovering new products, and
seeking new plants, nursery stock, landscape and garden
items, heavy and light-duty equipment, tools, outdoor
living essentials, and other allied industry products.
More than 84% of MANTS attendees identified as
the final decision-makers or those who influence their
companies' purchasing decisions, while more than 76%
are categorized as owners, vice presidents, managers,
buyers, or sales and marketing professionals. By the end of
the final show day, more than half of this year's exhibitors
had already renewed their exhibit space for the 2024 show.

LEADERSHIP CHANGE
Bailey Nurseries has announced that Terri McEnaney
will step away from day-to-day operations in her role as
CEO to focus on strategy and the future of the company.
Shane Brockshus has been named chief operating officer,
an evolution of his previous role as chief operations officer.

McEnaney will now focus on driving strategy, building
relationships and engaging in the industry.

will guide my time and commitment. "
As chief operating officer, Brockshus will continue
overseeing production and is now responsible for the
areas of sales, marketing, brands, product development,
and human resources. This progression reportedly reflects
Bailey's approach to long-term, intentional changes for
the betterment of the Bailey organization.

These transitions are effective immediately, with both
McEnaney and Brockshus continuing to work at Bailey's

Japan, the Suntory Flowers Innovation Field marks the finale
of a global 20-year anniversary celebration.
Here, the Suntory Flowers team will develop new
varieties and produce stock plants that will become the
