Annual Meeting

The Berks County Bar Association held its Annual Meeting on Oct. 17 at the
Berkshire Country Club. Members thanked President Jeffrey A. Franklin for his
leadership during the past year while several Past Presidents passed the presidential
gavel to President Eden R. Bucher, who will become the 87th President in January.
This year's meeting also featured Pennsylvania Bar Association President Anne
N. John, who joined us all the way from Uniontown, Fayette County. Finally, the
meeting marked the conclusion of the Inaugural Fall 50/50 Campaign. Thanks to our
members, the Fall 50/50 campaign raised more than $5,000 for the Bar Association's
Law Explorer Post, Court Interpreter Training Program and other community outreach
and education programs. The grand prize winner of the 50/50 Campaign was Mark S.
Caltagirone, a member of the Law Foundation's Board of Trustees.

Members enjoyed a meal of either
Grilled Filet Mignon, Blackened
Salmon, Chicken Francaise or
Wild Mushroom Ravioli.
