Spotlight on New Members

Nikolas D. Capitano is working at East
Penn Manufacturing Co. where he brings
his background in business and technology
to bear. His focus at East Penn is on
regulatory compliance matters, specifically
related to data protection and privacy
legislation. Nikolas's undergraduate years
were spent at The Pennsylvania State
University and his law degree was earned
at the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline
School of Law. He is an avid bodybuilder
but also keeps busy as the single parent of
two sons: Niky, 3, and Andy, 2.

agency in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before
attending Penn State Dickinson School of
Law where she interned at the Community
Law and Children's Advocacy Clinics,
focusing on family and dependency cases.
Following graduation from Dickinson,
Summer clerked for a judge in Adams
County. She travels a lot, "reads heavily
and enjoys true crime podcasts, indie
movies and fantasy football (Go Saints!)."
A Shillington resident, Summer lives with
her two cats, Annabel Lee and Stephen
Colbert.

The Judicial Law Clerk for the Senior
Judges is Zanna Leiendecker, who is
a graduate of The Pennsylvania State
University and the University of Pittsburgh
School of Law. Her hobbies include
exploring local restaurants, reading,
cheering on all Pittsburgh sports teams
and cooking. Before beginning her current
clerkship, Zanna had clerked for President
Judge Thomas G. Parisi for two years.

Paul F. Troisi is an associate attorney at
Leisawitz Heller where he practices in the
areas of commercial and personal injury
litigation. He did both his undergraduate
and law school education at Syracuse
University. Prior to joining Leisawitz
Heller, Paul worked for a small firm in
Bethlehem and in the Harrisburg office of
a Philadelphia-based firm. His hobbies are
hunting, fishing, and sports as well as being
a huge supporter of Liverpool F.C. Paul is
married to Carlin.

A new member serving in the Reading
office of MidPenn Legal Services is
Matthew Martin. He is the Telephone
Advice Project Attorney and Coordinated Intake Unit Manager, and his
practice areas include landlord-tenant law,
consumer defense, utility law and mortgage
foreclosure. A graduate of Bloomsburg
University and Widener University
Commonwealth Law School, Matt enjoys
hiking with his dog, running, visiting
craft breweries, cooking and trying new
restaurants and cuisines. After law school,
his work experience included clerking for
the Honorable Samuel A. Kline of the
Lebanon County Court of Common Pleas.
Also at MidPenn is Summer Swanson.
She represents victims of domestic violence
in their custody cases. She majored in
Psychology and minored in French and
English at Louisiana State University.
After college, Summer worked for several
years in various roles at a domestic violence

The Honorable Mary Ann Ullman's
Judicial Law Clerk is Andrew Walls.
Prior to attending Widener University
Commonwealth Law School, he was a
school teacher and professor for fifteen
years. His educational background
includes having a B.S. in Music Education
from Duquesne University, an M.M. in
Music Performance from the University
of Cincinnati College-Conservatory
of Music and an A.D. in Trombone
Performance from the Royal Conservatorie
of Scotland. Andy plays trombone
professionally with his brass quintet and a
few regional orchestras. He has "a serious
obsession with playing pickleball," a cross
between tennis, badminton and ping pong!
He and his wife, Jen, have three children:
Emma, 14, Lilly, 11, and Carter, 9.
