results in a case law library, the number of cases that cite the case
in question, referred to as "Citing References," is provided as part
of the result set in the right margin. In addition, a "Citing Cases
Graph" is also available which provides a graphic display of the
citing cases, by count, on a timeline. Once in the graph, a user
can pick a point in time to see the citing cases and link to them if
desired.

Client/Matter Tracking You may track searches and time spent
by client and/or a particular matter if you enter client information.
[Combined] Pages This feature, available in statutes,
constitutions and rules and regulations, combines all the content
within a hierarchy into a single viewable/printable page. It is
available for any hierarchy level that has direct "children" with
content such as a combined listing of all sections within a chapter.
The [Combined] link can be found as the first browse link under a
hierarchy, if available for that hierarchy level.

Copy with Citation and Shareable Link "Copy with Citation"
allows the user to highlight a section of text from a document
and copy the content to the user's clipboard along with an official
citation. A User can also choose to select text and "Copy with a
Shareable Link." A hyperlink is included with the text in the user's
clipboard that allows any person (even a non-Casemaker user) to
view the complete text of the linked case.
Folders This feature allows a user to save documents for future
reference so they need not search for them repeatedly. Users may
create and name folders and sub-folders.
Go To Section This feature, exclusive to structured material
(statutes, regulations, court rules, constitutions, etc.), allows
the user to enter a section number or citation (in Cite As note
format) and be taken directly to that section in document view
mode - unlike a section search which presents a search result
page. If a subsection designator is added, the user will be taken
directly to that highlighted subsection similar to using the Go To
Subsection feature in document view. In other words, the Go To
Section feature allows a user to navigate directly to any section or
subsection in a single click.

Jurisdiction Selection Users may specify the jurisdiction(s) to
access when running a search. A user may make the selection for
the current session, or set a default selection for all sessions in the
'My Settings' page.
History This feature automatically saves a user's searches and
notates that record with any associated client or matter.

Linked Content Casemaker strives to link every official citation
in primary law content. Thus, if you are viewing a statute, and there
is a reference to another statute, case or act within Casemaker, the
citation will be accessible by clicking on the link.
My Settings This page allows the user to permanently (across
user sessions) set system preferences for commonly used features,
such as which data type(s) to search. Options include:
* Search State (jurisdiction)
* Search Data Type

* Search Result Sort Preference
* E-mail Id for sending emails
* Print Options

* Default Browse View

Notes Users can permanently post private notes directly to the
document being viewed, edit them, and print them.

Saved Searches After running a search, the user may click the
'Save Search' link there by saving that search to the 'My Saved
Searches' page. This page has the saved search for reuse if desired,
along with the time it was saved and Client or Matter (if selected).
Search Tips Located below the "Search" button in the
Casemaker header is a "Search Tip" link to a page that contains a
list of the available Boolean operators and search types along with
sample usage of each.

Structured Material & Subsections All statutes, constitutions,
rules and regulations are fully structured with appropriate
indentation for subsections and subdivisions, making them easy to
read and cite (hovering over a subsection lists the full subsection
cite). In addition, all documents that contain subsections have
a "GoTo" dropdown list so a user can quickly navigate to any
subsection in the document.

SuperCode is a feature that alerts a user that a statute has been
affected by current legislation, even though those changes have not
yet been effectuated in the statute. The alert consists of a message
at the top of the content and a corresponding "SuperCode" tab that
contains the relevant legislative act.
Videos & Webinars Casemaker provides both helpful videos
and live webinars.
