Berks Bar at the Ballpark
Berks County Bar Association members enjoyed an afternoon at Citizens Bank
Park on June 10 watching the Philadelphia Phillies take on their National League
East rival, the Atlanta Braves. The game evoked a sense of déjà vu for those
who attended the last Phillies bus trip back in 2019. In both 2019 and 2021, the
Phillies starting pitcher kept the opponent off the scoreboard only to watch the
bullpen give up the lead. And in both games, middle infielder Jean Segura rallied
the Phillies to a win in walk-off fashion by lacing extra-base hits. Meanwhile, this
year's trip featured a few games of skill (and luck) and giveaways to make sitting
in traffic on the Schuylkill Expressway more bearable.

More than 20 members, friends, and family, rode the bus to Citizens Bank Park.
