supports the virtual Law Day ceremony.
" In my eyes the principle that most
shaped America into the amazing
country she is now is the principle
of freedom. Freedom of religion,
freedom of the press, freedom
of speech - these all stem from
the same thing, the principle of
freedom. When we fought for
independence from England, we
fought to gain freedom. When
the Founding Fathers wrote the
Declaration of Independence and
the U.S. Constitution, they had
freedom in mind. "

" When I look at the scale that
represents the law, I want to know that I
too can help achieve balance. When you
think about it, everyone's principles
define the law. Our principles can help
those who don't have rights. We all
deserve rights, and our law can help us
with that. We just have to look. "
