Clio is also the cloud-based legal practice management software
I most recommend for small- to medium-sized law firms looking
for a web-based system. The company continues to reinvest in
Clio and recently made available a major new version, "Apollo,"
which loads faster, the navigation bar stays in place, has universal
create, one-click timers, a new API (application programming
interface), is easier to use, stable, and more flexible. Clio support
gets generally positive reviews. Clio's conferences are amazing.
While no product is a perfect fit for every firm and all web-based
systems entail some compromises, Clio is worth consideration for
many firms.

Clio recently announced a new direction of moving from
"legal practice management" in the cloud to "legal practice" in
the cloud by focusing more on the addition of new integration
partners. Clio recently added 21 new app integrations to Clio's
App Directory, bringing the total number of apps that can be
integrated with Clio to about 90. More are added regularly.
