achieving sobriety and maintaining it upon release from jail.
"I would not have been able to develop this program which has
touched so many lives if not for the PHP," Lepley said. "I give back
to the PHP by serving on an Advisory Committee and providing
financial donations when I can. I give back so that the program is
here for other physicians who feel hopeless, isolated and have lost
their way in life."

recognized program provides an independent and fair assessment
when a physician's competency is called into question. Whether
a physician has taken a decade off to raise her family and wants
to return to work or an aging surgeon is in need of evaluation to
determine what the next stage of his career looks like, LifeGuard
aims to facilitate higher performing physicians and promote patient
safety while ensuring quality of medical care.

MD, chief wellness officer at Stanford Medicine. He's an
international thought leader in the field of physician wellness. We'll
hear from a variety of speakers addressing burnout, stress and the

stage of your career - from medical students and residents, to our
physicians in the thick of it, to those nearing the end of their career.
