shop and mentor him in the basics of cabinetmaking.
During this time Bob acquired many tools, both modern
and traditional, needed for woodworking. Today he has
one of the most extensive collections of hand woodworking
tools in the country. After college, Bob decided to make
his hobby a profession, and attended the North Bennett
Street School in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon graduation
he continued to be mentored by Chester County's master
cabinetmakers, Marshall Brinton and Ben Argust. Bob
made cabinetmaking his full time profession for three
years. However, being a man of many interests and talents
he subsequently received his Master's degree from the
University of Delaware in Agricultural Economics, then his
Master's degree in Government Administration from the
University of Pennsylvania. For the last 30 years, Bob has
worked for the State of Pennsylvania in the Department
of Agriculture and Revenue service. He continued
his woodworking as a passion but not a profession.
