Three seating areas are available. The lounge
at the entrance has a cocktail bar with a sushi
bar perpendicular to it. The main dining area
is composed of hibachi tables for eight, for fun
communal eating. A downstairs lounge is open
on Saturday nights for karaoke. You might
get lucky sometime and hear my rendition
of Led Zeppelin's "The Immigrant Song."

include many flavors of iced teas, lemonades,
and Remune (Japanese bottled sodas).
Because of the generous size of the dinners,
appetizers are not needed, unless you come for
a drink and a bite, or love doggy-bag Asian
food for breakfast like me. Selections are
typical Japanese-edamame, vegetable and
shrimp tempura, sushi and sashimi samplers.

For starters, the drink selection is moderately extensive. Besides a generous wine and
Hibachi dinners are entertainingly prebeer list, the menu has an entire page of sakes, sented by chefs Hoc, Thong, Lee and Bic. Call
including selections from Berkeley, California me a nerd, but I never get tired of the spatula
and several Japanese artisanal brands. Also egg juggling, the onion volcanos and the
from the Land of the Rising Sun are whiskeys shrimp flipping. Meals start with Kajimachi
(acclaimed by fans), beers, and plum wine. A soup (a beef broth less salty than expected),
page of inviting specialty cocktails make for salad, and a hibachi shrimp appetizer.
fun reading followed by sipping. I enjoyed a
Tokyo Sunrise, combining Ketel One vodka,
Principle beef selections are USDA choice,
Cointreau, pomegranate liqueur and lemon aged and hand-cut on the premises, and
juice, while a tablemate couldn't resist a second include Chateaubriand (!), filet mignon and
mango colada. Non-alcoholic selections New York strip steak. Other non-traditional

items, for Harrisburg Japanese cuisine, include
calamari, colossal shrimp and cold-water
lobster tail. Adornments, paired with fresh
vegetables, include avocado tartar (smooth
and subtle), white balsamic and spicy tofu
sauces. Multiple teriyaki and hibachi combos
are available. If you prefer, dozens of choices
of sushi, sashimi and creative rolls await, and
are nicely plated.
For something a little special, you're sure to
enjoy Kajimachi. As Forrest Gump famously
said, "Life is like a Bento box; you never know
what you're going to get."

Straight Talk about Treating Vein Problems--A Question and Answer Session
with noted surgeon Dr. John Mathai, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.C.C. and director of
Premier Vein Specialists (offices in Camp Hill, Hanover and York)
Q: My legs look veiny and I don't like it. How do I pick a doctor?
A: Look for an experienced surgeon and a practice where you feel comfortable. I practiced heart surgery for over
three decades before specializing in the treatment of veins. I am double Board Certified with The American Board of
Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and a Member of the American College of Phlebology. Our
staff is friendly and we like to think it is a welcoming environment. One of the reasons we offer a free evaluation
screening appointment for spider veins is so that you get a chance to see what your situation is and see how you like
it here at no risk.
Q: Is vein surgery expensive?
A: Most of the procedures we conduct are covered by typical medical insurance programs.
Q: Are the procedures painful?
A: All procedures are done with local anesthetic, with the patient awake. Discomfort is minimal.
Q: What is the typical recovery time?
A: The procedures are done in our offices and the patient walks in and walks out. Most patients return to work the
next day.
Q: Are vein problems purely cosmetic?
A: No. Most are medical conditions. With insurance covering most procedures, there is no reason to endure leg pain
or not like the way your legs look.
