truck, or commercial vehicle); if the responsible driver

So, even if an injured person is covered by Limited
Tort, it's important to investigate whether any exception
might apply to allow him/her to recover non-economic
damages.
LIABILITY COVERAGE
Finally, it's important you purchase sufficient liability
coverage so that if you cause an accident, you will have
enough coverage to pay for the damages. In Pennsylvania
you are required to carry at least $15,000 per
person/$30,000 per accident of bodily injury coverage
and $5,000 for property damage coverage.
If you cause a car accident, your insurance company
is required to pay the injured person fair compensation,
but only up to the amount of your coverage. If you cause
a serious accident, the damages of the victim could easily
be worth well more than the minimum coverage limits.
Accordingly, I recommend that people consider carrying
substantial liability limits and talk to their agent about
getting a separate umbrella policy to provide additional
protection to make sure that they are fully covered
and that their personal assets are protected from a car
accident injury lawsuit.
With these tips in mind, I recommend that you review
your Car Insurance Declarations to make sure that you
and your family are protected with appropriate coverage.
In addition, hopefully you have learned some helpful
information to pass along to family, friends, and clients.
