4. Since the pandemic, the CCBA Staff have aggressively
grown the number of CLEs put on by our organization.
We are now producing over 100 CLE classes every year,
which is almost ten times the number we used to put on.
5. In addition to major events like the fall and spring
Bench Bars, the Foundation Key Gala, Bar Sail,
and the President's Dinner, our CCBA Staff put on
another 25 or so smaller scale events each year. Many
individual sections also have happy hours frequently
throughout the year. Additionally, the Annual Meeting,
Naturalization Ceremonies, Veteran's Day Ceremony,
Law Day, Judicial Plebiscite, and Sponsor Recognition
Receptions take quite a bit of work. I think the foregoing
establishes the point.
I am happy that we have been able to reopen and that I
was able to re-connect with many of you at the events we
have had. As I mentioned in a previous article, the CCBA
was instrumental in making me feel welcome and part
of the legal community when I relocated my practice to
Chester County in 1995. I wish to thank the Association
for allowing me to serve as President this year. It has been
an honor and pleasure. Take care.
