Joseph A. Malley, III, Esquire
Jiminy Cricket is the Walt Disney version of the Talking
Cricket, a fictional character created by Italian writer Carlo
Collodi for his children's book The Adventures of Pinocchio,
which Disney adapted into the animated film Pinocchio in
1940. Originally an unnamed, minor character in Collodi's
novel, he was transformed in the Disney version into a
comical and wise partner who accompanies Pinocchio on
his adventures, having been appointed by the Blue Fairy to
serve as Pinocchio's official conscience.

DCBA Members Joe Malley and Bob Firkser attended
Saint Joseph's University together. Both Bob and Joe
joined the Delaware County Bar Association in 1979. Bob
taught Joe how to play tennis, the game on this court where
the object is to maneuver the ball in such a way that the
opponent is not able to play a valid return. Joe became
quite a tennis player; he continues to serve, after many
years, as the Chairman of the Bench Bar Conference Tennis
Committee. Bob, in his third year now, serves as Chairman
of the Bench Bar Conference Committee. Bob also served
as DCBA President in 2008.
