His community involvement is extraordinary. A few of the
boards he has served on include the boards of the Franklin
Mint Federal Credit Union, the Associated Services for the
Blind, local Chapters of the American Red Cross and American
Lung Associations, Delco Memorial Foundation, the CrozerChester Foundation, the Hedgerow Theater Foundation, and the
Delaware County Bar Association.
Representing our Bar Association, he was instrumental in
working with our Bench in the development of the Orphan's
Court Rules. He served as solicitor for the Delaware County
Head Start Foundation and the Delaware County Housing
Authority. Joe developed and taught the Estate Planning
Program for Paralegals at Widener University.
Joe roots for the underdog. He is proud of the fact that
he is the first attorney who forced the IRS to pay a taxpayer's
attorney's fees when they lost.
Joe is a member of Aronimink. If you ever played golf with
Joe you know he has the heart of the Kevin Costner's character
in Tin Cup. There is no shot that is impossible. He may fail
nine times out of ten to pull off a miracle shot but when he does,
his legend grows. Everyone who has played golf with Joe has
a "can you believe this story" about Joe. His name appears on
championship plaques all around this club house to prove it.
Joe has lived life fully, both professionally and personally.
Our Bar can be justly proud of the Polish-Irish kid from Chester
who has touched so many lives.
