MEDIA - THANK YOU to the Family Law Section of the Delaware County Bar
Association (DCBA) for hosting the Night at the Races fundraiser to benefit LASP!
The April 25 event, held at DCBA, Media, featured a fabulous Italian Mediterranean
Fusion dinner by La Fava, spirits, a live auction, and more. For more photos, visit

Proceeds in the amount of $5,000 were raised to benefit LASP!

an attorney who practices exclusively in Family Law and serves as a strong advocate
for victims of domestic violence. While passionate about many causes, Kathleen
devotes much of her personal time to community service and lives by the power of

enchant the eye, and soothe the spirit"

he Scott Arboretum is a unique garden
of ideas and suggestions encouraging
horticulture in its broadest sense
through displays on the 350-plus acre campus
of Swarthmore College. The Arboretum offers
some of the region's most intimate, authentic,
and accessible horticultural experiences.
The Arboretum is a living memorial to
Arthur Hoyt Scott (Swarthmore Class of
1895). Mr. Scott's family made a generous
donation to found the Arboretum in 1929.

Allee...The dawn redwoods
that define this walkway were
planted in 1996. In the shade of
their canopies, a mix of whiteflowering and white-fruiting
plants such as hydrangeas,
anemones, hostas, and
beautyberries grow. The simple
color scheme keeps the focus on
the sculptural qualities of the
dawn redwoods.

Celebrate Delco Arts Week
(September 21-28, 2019)
September 26 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A stress-relieving workshop about surface
design and natural dyes with Tara Webb.
Participants will create botanical art on gypsy
headbands, doggie bandanas, or infinity
scarves using a technique called 'Hapazome.' 'Hapa-zome,' also known as 'the art
of pounding leaves,' is a design technique
where pigment from fresh leaves and flowers
is pounded onto textiles to create beautiful
patterns from organic imprints.|

Art in the Garden Tour

September 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Explore the sculpture nestled among the
Scott Arboretum gardens. This tour is geared
for gardeners from beginners to experts. The
tour is free and open to the public. *
