Guy G. deFuria Award Presented at April Meeting
At its April 24th meeting, the Inn of Court presented its
prestigious Guy G. deFuria award to John M. Gallagher, Jr. The
deFuria Award is given annually to a trial attorney or judge who
exemplified the ideals embodied by Guy G. deFuria and who
has demonstrated a commitment to competence, civility, and
professionalism in the best traditions of the legal profession.

The Inn of Court Honors Outgoing President
Richard M. Heller
Richard M. Heller was honored for his service as President of
the Inn of Court in 2018-2019 at the May 9th meeting of the
Inn. During his tenure, Rich worked hard to help the deFuria
Inn of Court to achieve bronze status with the American Inns
of Court and was instrumental in updating the section's ByLaws. Presenting the award to Rich Heller is Joseph P. Lesniak,
incoming President for 2019-2020.

FY2019-2020
The Guy G. deFuria Inn of Court is pleased to announce that the
following slate of Officers was elected for FY2019-2020:
President: Joseph P. Lesniak
President-Elect: Pamela A. Lee Van Blunk
Vice President: Conal P. Hickey
Secretary: Mary Jo Gilsdorf
Treasurer: William L. Baldwin

Recent changes by The Inn ...
Dues Structure: Annual dues for Barristers (those members
who have been admitted to practice law more than five years)
remain at $125.00, but dues for Associates (those members who
have been admitted to practice law for five years or less) are
now $85.00. Anyone interested in joining the Inn should visit
the website www.defuriainnofcourt.org.
The creation of the "Bruce E. Roger Memorial Fund"
to allow members to make donations to provide financial
assistance to younger attorneys who wish to participate in
the Inn of Court. Bruce E. Rodger, Esquire, was one of the
founding members of the Guy G. deFuria Inn of Court. *
